It is obvious a good news that, Judwaa2 has crossed the box office collection of 100 crores, today. Judwaa-2 was released on last Friday and continuously done the best collection on each day of week. As per the report of Bollywood collection expert, Taran Adarsh, Judwaa-2 has done the collection of 16.10 crores on first day. It has crossed 45 crores in week end and from Monday to Thursday, it has collected 98.08 crores. The best thing is that, today, on Friday, it has crossed the magical amount of 100 crores. Judwaa-2 is continuously second movie after, Badrinath Ki Dulhaniya, of Varun Dhavan, in this year, which has crossed a figure of 100 crores on box office, today. Here, it is notable that, Judwaa-2 is a remake of Salman Khan’s Judwaa of 1997 and stars Taapsee Pannu and Jacqueline Fernandez opposite, Varun Dhavan & was released on 29th of September, on screen of world.
Raja Sen asked in interview with NDTV that, “I like young Dhavan. I enjoy his work in movies as disparate as Badlapur and Badrinath Ki Dulhaniya, but in Judwaa-2, he isn’t allowed to do his own things. Instead, he has trying to match a marvelously inane Salman Khan’s performance of original Judwaa. Varun Dhavan curbs his natural spontaneity to try and ape Salman Khan.”
Here, this was a strange time of Bollywood that, only one movie, Toilet Ek Premkatha of Akshay Kumar, crossed a figure of 100 crores. This is the second movie of year to do it. This is also a second number of released film of Varun in this year, after BKD.
In last to last week, Newton, Bhoomi and Haseena Parkar were released. In all three, only Newton has collected around 24 crores, till date, means it’s an average film. But Bhoomi has crossed the figure of only 10 crores, out of the budget of 30 crores and Haseena Parkar has collected only 6.5 crores, again with the budget of 30 crores, means both movies are flop on box office.
Here, we can see that, star like Sanjay Dutt and film like a Haseena, on based of biggest Indian Don, also not worked on box office, and a new star movie of Varun Dhavan crossed 100 crores. It is but obvious that, viewers wants new things and new stars also. Label of Sanjay Dutt also don’t work on box office.
Baahubali-2 has crossed the most magical figure of 1725 crores. Bahubali 2 is 3rd highest grosser in overseas Box office collection. First in this list is Amir Khan Dangal and second is Mithun Chakrawati Disco Dance as per Wikipedia sources. Most of low budget movies done good job on boxoffice, Hindi Medium crossed 60 crores against a figure of 23 crores, Jolly LLB-2 has crossed 107 crores against 45 crores. Baadshaho of Ajay Devgan, Simran of Kangana and Lucknow Central seems flop movies of Bollywood box office, this year.
For box office star ranking, Salman Khan is No.1 by 1800 points, Amir Khan is second by 1300 points and Shah Rukh Khan is third by 1050 points. All three Khan’s are on top rank with box office collection.
Let us wait for Judwaa-2 collection for more some days and then only we can ask that, it is super hit movie or not. As of today, it is obvious a HIT movie. Even, it has a great chance this week, because, there is no super power movie releasing today. Old movies has only fight with CHEF of Saif, this week.
