Toilet ek prem katha”……. A super-duper movie in terms of Social Welfare

Since 11 days, we can see the box office rush for the best movie of Akshay Kumar, “Toilet ek prem katha”. Actually it is very good sign for Bollywood that a simple and normal story has taken up for high climbing in the sky of income growth.

One thought is coming since 11 days in my mind that, this is not only movie. There is no doubt about that, normal people, high thinking people, Bollywood stars, Political people, and media people ….. Everyone speaks so well about this movie. IF we can see our present situation of our country, we are having numbers of villages at present in India, in which this mentality is present in mind of thousands of people. Actually, Toilet is a very primary need of person, but the wrong religious believes are in mind. Today we are having religious method of” Ghunghat”in villages and after that, it is strong believe that our Ladies are very important part of a house and no one can see her face. But the same time, when they refuse to make Toilet in their own premise, they don’t understand the heart feelings of our honourable ladies.

Let us put our eyes on the world of Media also. Some has given 4 to 5 rating also out 5 and some given 2 to 2.5, but it is purely on commercial lookout. But, YES…. To doing a valuable comments by valuable people has also a very good value, itself.

Meena Iyer of the Times of India gave the film 4/5 stars saying, “Director Shree Narayan Singh holds up a mirror to society, showing us how our superstitious villagers, lazy administration and corrupt politicians have actually converted India into the world’s largest shit-pond. Women especially, are treated more insensitively than cattle!”. Shubhra Gupta of The Indian Express rated the film 2/5 and said, “It’s fitting that Akshay Kumar has greenlit and played the lead in this film, which is more a primer of How To Break Social Taboos and Make Toilets rather than a powerful social drama”. Rohit Vats of Hindustan Times gave it 2.5/5 stars saying, “Ek Prem Katha endorses the Indian government’s Swacch Bharat Abhiyaan so seriously that after a point it starts to look like that Priyanka Bharti ad featuring Vidya Balan“. Writing for The Hindu, Namrata Joshi said, “While some amount of potential (eventually lost) is visible in the first half, the second half of the film ends in a total mess”.Anna MM of the Firstpost rated it 1.5/5 saying, “The tragedy of Toilet: EkPrem Katha is that minus stalking and the chamchagiri, it could have been a good film”. Saibal Chaterjee of NDTV giving the film 2/5 stars, said, “When what should at best have been a ten-minute public service film bloats into a two-and-a-half-hour, patience-testing, yawn-inducing Bollywood puff-job for a government scheme, it is bound to stink to high heaven. Toilet: EkPrem Katha does”. Rohit Bhatnagar of Deccan Chronicle gave the film 3.5/5 and said, “Akshay Kumar, Bhumi Pednekar and Divyendu Sharma are sure to win you over with their quirky yet brilliant acts”.

Simply, we can say that, this movie is absolutely FIT for ”Swachh Bharat Abhiyan“ of our Prime Minister, Narendra Modi ji. In eight days, movie crossed 100 crore in box office, but because it is a movie for an each common man, it should be reach up to 1000 crores. Not in a sense of income, but for the sense of mentality and wrong religious believes.
