Sam Bahadur

Sam

Sam Bahadur is an excellent movie that revolves around the high and low points of Sam Manekshaw who became the first Indian Army officer to be promoted to the rank of Field Marshal. Vicky Kaushal was as usual brilliant at his acting in the role of the military strategist and performed exceptionally well.

Undoubtedly, the success of the film is Vicky Kaushal’s charismatic on screen performance. Kaushal once again proved that he has that aura to put life to a legendary character on the screen. His flawless diction, impeccable mannerisms and the authoritative personality he exudes are hallmarks of a great actor, and Vicky has proved it once again.

Sanya Malhotra played the role of Sam Manekshaw’s wife Silloo, while Fatima Sana Shaikh starred as former Prime Minister of India Indira Gandhi.

Meghna Gulzar’s direction in this war biopic is being appreciated by the audiences. The rousing blend of battle cries of different regiments of Indian Army created by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy gives a sense of the vibrant culture of the Indian armed forces.

The team at work including direction, acting, cinematography, locations and music captured the true essence of the life of Field Marshall Sam Manekshaw and narrated it very well in the movie.
