Now, finally “PADMAAVAT” is releasing on 25th January

After many of disputes, now “Padmaavat” is on stage of releasing. Bhansali Productions and Viacom 18 Motion Pictures officially announced that, the film will hit the screens on 25th January, with due modifications suggested by the Central Board of Film Certification. The makers of “Padmaavat”, through front page advertisements in newspapers on Monday, listed disclaimers clarifying that it never had dream sequence featuring Allauddin Khilji and Rani Padmavati and that it is a movie, every Indian will be proud of.

Some important points were clarified by film makers that, “Padmaavat is based on epic. Padmaavat by Sufi poet Malik Muhammad Jayasi which is a revered work of fiction. The film does not have and never had a dream sequence between Allauddin Khilji and Rani Padmavati. We have made this film as an ode to the famed valour, legacy and courage of Rajputs. The film portrays Rani Padmavati with utmost respect and does not tarnish her repute or misrepresent her character in any manner.”

Set in 1303 AD medieval India, Padmaavat is the story of honour, valour and obsession. Queen Padmavati is known for her exceptional beauty along with a strong sense of justice and is the wife of Maharawal Ratan Singh and pride of the Kingdom of Chittor, a prosperous Kingdom in the north west of India. The legend of her beauty reaches the reigning sultan of Hindustan, Allauddin Khilji. The Sultan, who is tyrant, is fixated with wanting anything that is of exceptional beauty for himself. He lays siege on the impregnable fortress of Chittorgarh. After a gruelling six months, he returns empty handed. He becomes obsessed and now wants to capture Chittor and its Queen Padmavati at any cost. He returns with a big army and raging fury. He attacks on Chittor with brutal force and a bloody and fearsome battle take place between the righteous Maharawal Ratan Singh defending his Kingdom and the honour of his Queen and Sultan Allauddin Khilji. Khilji manage to breach the fortress but it goes in vain as the Queen chooses to make the ultimate sacrifice to protect her dignity.

The lead role of this movie is done by Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone with supporting marvellous part of Shahid Kappor, Ranveer Singh and Aditi Rao Hydari. The film is directed by only and one super director Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Prakash Kapadia has also written and done screenplay of this movie.

Movie was in controversy with some Hindu groups for historical facts since some time and after some changes now, it is ready to release on 25th of January with new name of “Padmaavat”. “Ghoomar” is the famous song of this movie, singing by Shreya Ghoshal and Swaroop Khan and other song “Ek dil ek Jan” is performed by Shivam Pathak. The main languages used in this movie are Hindi with Rajasthani. After all clarifications and changes also, Gujarat and M.P. states are in opposite of releasing this movie in their states.
