Dum laga ke Haisha was the first film of pair, Aayushmaan Khurana and Bhumi Pednekar and in that story, in DLKH they were facing problem after marriage. And same star cast come again in “Shubh Mangal Sawdhan” with new concept It is the second movie of this pair and in this story; their problem is for before marriage. It is purely clean image family drama, to which can enjoy with whole family. The movie is directed by R.S. Prasanna and produced by, Anand L. Rai. The total budget of this movie is 25 crores and it has already crossed more than 10% amount on box office of first day, 1st September.
The story of this movie is fully based on Tamil movie, “Kalyana Samyal Sadham”, which was released in 2013, but if we compare to both, ShubhMangalSawdhan is positive, high-strung and boisterous than Tamil movie. In this movie, it is a hilarious comedy built around the very original and unique premise of erectile dysfunction, but this movie is so more than a collection of limp jokes.
Movie is totally based on a enjoyable love story. The names of main roles are Mudit and Sugandha. Mudit is a cool guy from Gurgoan and Sugandha is staying at Delhi in Moti bagh area. They met on Nehru Place. They felt in love but no one was ready to start the love story. Then, after the advice of his mother, Mudit sent online proposal to Sugandha and they have done engagement. Both characters are from middle class family. We know the mindset of middle class family, how they react and even system of married life, but Director has explain the characters in such a fantastic way, in this movie.
The main enjoyment subject of this movie is “Mortality weakness” of Mudit. He is prescribing his problem as a, Gents Problem to Sugandha. Even director has given happiness to public by the marriage of such person with Banana tree, a fully based on blind faith. Even on one side, we can say that, this movie is on the base of Mortality weakness only.
Bhumi, who is basically Marathi girl, but in this movie, she has expressed herself in role of Delhi girl , in the best way. Aayushmaan is also success to make his role, healthy and attractive. Even, the characters of Sugandha’s father and mother & Mudit’s father and mother are also suitable for the story, they have done their best. So, we can say that, whole star cast of movie is the fantastic. The writer, Hitesh Kevaliya has done also his best for this funny family drama movie.
No doubt, some climax of this movie is just like funny, because we can have some feelings of preaching and drama in some part, but overall it is good. The realizing date of this movie is same with Badshaho of Ajay Devgan, so it will have many problems on box office, but there is a special community which prefers only family drama and fun, so it can be HIT in terms of box office.
