KALYANJI-ANANDJI

Today, on each function of Patriotism we can hear easily some songs, and those are … “Mere desh ki dharti, sona ugle, ugle hire moti…” or “Bharat ka rahene wala hu, Bharat ki baat sunnata hu…” These songs are from movies,’ Upkar’ and ‘Purab aur Pashchim’ of great artist Manoj Kumar, which movies were released in 1967 and 1970. When we are celebrating Krishna Janmotsav, surly we are playing a song, “Govinda aala re “, which song’s music was given by this pair in 1963, in’ Bluf Master’ movie. On the celebration of our daughter’s marriage, today also we are playing and hearing a song, “Meri Pyari Baheniya, Banegi Dulhaniya”, Which film came in 1970 and that fantastic music was given by this pair only. As on today, in moments of romance, we are singing, “Pal pal dil ke pas, tum raheti ho”, a song from Black Mail, which came in 1973.

Why I am asking all these things …? Because, the part of music is still loving and memorable and all of us have this experience.  All this memorable and lovely song’s music is given by, this pair, “Kalyanji-Anandji”.
