The story of the film is of a Muslim family living in Banaras of Uttar Pradesh, whose leader is Murad Ali Mohammed (Rishi Kapoor). There are some situations in which his son Shahid Mohammed (Pratik Babbar) is found involved in terrorist activities. Due to this mistreatment, Murad Ali’s daughter-in-law, Aarti Malhotra (Taapsee Pannu), who is married to Shahid’s elder brother, wins case in court for honor of family.

Talking about acting, every actor has done his role very well. Rishi Kapoor has appeared in a completely different style. At the same time, Ashutosh Rana and Pratik Babbar have also been seen instinctively acting. Tapasi Pannu once again proved why he is considered to be one of the finest actors. Manoj Pahwa has done amazing work, while the work of Rajat Kapoor in the role of police and Kumud Mishra in the role of the judge is very good. Nina Gupta and the rest of the actors have also acted instantly.

Public prosecutor Santosh Anand (Ashutosh Rana) and police officer Danish Javed (Rajat Kapoor) take a gamble to prove this family as a terrorist.
In fact, Javed is the police officer who had encroached Shahid. Now Murad Ali Mohammed has no choice but to prove himself and his family innocent and to regain their lost respect. Even before the decision of the Aarti Mohammed court, the terrorist is able to prove the innocence of a convicted family? Can he be able to return to his glorious talent again? You have to go to the cinema to know this.
The writer-director Anubhav Sinha proves to be the true hero of the film.

Through his film, he has questioned such issues and issues, which have been buried for a long time in your life and our thinking is being frustrated, but no one wants to communicate on it. Explaining the true meaning of jehad in the film, he has said that it does not mean terrorism but is a stranger. The film also highlighted the politics of division. Perhaps this is the first time, when the writer-director has shown that the terrorists born in a family may be victims of good police bullets and reach their own ends, but what happens after his family?

The dialogue of experience keeps you shivering inside. The direction is straightforward and sharpen in the screenplay. After the first half fast moving story, when the story reaches the Court Room Drama in Second Half, you can not move from your place. The acting side of the cast is so strong that you do not realize that you are watching a movie. As Murad Ali Mohammed, Rishi Kapoor has played his role in a very modest and impressive manner.
He has not allowed his central role to diminish anywhere. He has made a great statement about the pain of proving his patriotism by accusing him as a terrorist. As Bilal, Manoj Pahwa’s helplessness and innocence proves to the audience deeply. He has done his best acting career. Tapi Pannu has shown a daughter-in-law and lawyer both parties in the form of an Aarti Mohamed in a lively style.

As a lawyer, Ashutosh Rana has done fine acting. Court room drama between both Tapi and Ashutosh proves the audience’s applause. In the form of Shahid the symbol leaves its mark. Other characters of the film include Nina Gupta, Prachi Pandya Shah and other artists who have played their characters honestly. In the case of music, songs such as ‘Thjun Se‘ and ‘Piya Front‘ are in line with the theme.
