The Patiala High Court in Delhi has granted actor Jacqueline Fernandez pre-arrest bail in the Rs 200 crore extortion case involving conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar. She was granted bail on a Rs 2 lakh bond. She can now travel overseas with judicial approval.
Jacqueline Fernandez arrived at Patiala House Court in Delhi earlier today. The Enforcement Directorate is looking into the case of alleged conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar.

Additional Sessions Judge Shailender Malik issued the order after having reserved the decision last week.
Earlier on November 10, the court asked the Enforcement Directorate why the actress had not been detained despite a Lookout Circular (LOC) being issued against her.
“Despite issuing a LOC, why haven’t you arrested Jacqueline yet?” Other defendants are incarcerated. “What is the point of having a pick-and-choose policy?” the judge asked the Enforcement Directorate.
In December of last year, the ED issued a Lookout Circular (LOC) against Jacqueline Fernandez. The ED has questioned the actress several times in connection with the Rs 200 crore money laundering case.
In its opposition to her plea, the ED stated that if the court grants her release, she will seek to exit the country. According to the ED, “despite knowing about Sukesh, she enjoyed the proceeds of crime.”
