Nakul(Ayushman Khurana) works in a corporate company.  Her parents Jitendra Kaushik (Gajraj Rao), Priyamvada (Nina Gupta) and brother Gular (Sharadul Rana) and grandmother (Surekha Sikri).

In the trailer of ‘Badhaai ho’, it is shown that everything is going well in this house then suddenly Nakula’s father gives a surprise news to all the member of family. He says that his wife is pregnant after that this news is spread everywhere. Nakul(Ayushman Khurana) get shocked because this news becomes a cause of embarrassment of her. At the age of 50 get pregnancy is awkward. The effect of this news is on Nakul’s relationship with Love Life Rini (Sanya Malhotra).
