Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi
Manikarnika : The Queen of Jhansi is one of the coming soon movie of an Indian epic biographical movie which is totaly based on the life of Rani Laxmibai of Jhansi. In this movie describe the story of rani Lakshmibai, which is the one of the most leading figures of the Indian Rebellion of 1857 and her resistance to the British Raj.
Basically, this movie describe some of the key moments in the life of the Rani Laxmibai of Jhansi, the warrior-queen who led her band of troops against the British forces during the national uprising of 1857. A biographical work on Manikarnika, who later became the queen of Jhansi, it portrays her marriage to Gangadhar, the king of Jhansi, her work as the queen regent following his demise and her fight against the colonial rule.
This movie is directed by National Award winning director Radha Krishna Jagarlamudi and produced by Zee Studios in association with Kamal Jain & Nishant Pitti. In this movie Actress Kangana Ranaut plays the titular role of Rani Laxmibai. This movie photography began in May 2017. This movie will be released on 25 January 2019 as per expectation.
