The story of the film is of a girl who comes to India research. While covering marriage in India, Nargis meets Raj Kumar Rao, who is playing the role of the police officer, who lives with her for safety.
While living together, when Nargis falls in love with Raj Kumar Rao, he does not even know himself. In the trailer, Hindustani marriage and customs have been shown to be well-presented.
In this movie Nargis Fakhri acting as an American Journalist for a magazine is given a task to feature multiple Indian Weddings in the magazine she works for.
In search of that, she travels to India where Raj Kumar Rao who is acting as a cop is assigned the task of escorting her. Then Nargis Fakhri travels to Punjab with Raj Kumar Rao where she mocks Indians and their English accents. After That movie transforms into a serious note about Hijras where Nargis becomes an investigating Journalist. In the end of the story, you will see Rao and Fakhri will seen in romantic relationship.
