“Padmaavat” has struggled a lot in Indian market. Since three months, there was a open and non-ended opposing of this movie by KARNI SENA and many other organizations of RAJPUT, basically in Rajasthan, M.P. and Gujarat. After all the opposition of PADMAAVAT, matter moves to Supreme Court with some correction of slots and the end was with happiness, Supreme Court has cleared the releasing of this movie.
PADMAAVAT released on 25th January. On 24th, Wednesday, it was a limited preview screening of this movie and on that day, collection starts with 5 Crore. On next day, when it comes on Indian Cinemas, there was a high alert. Everywhere, film released with Police protection. There was some fear in common public to move to the Cinemas on first day, but after all these also, movie has touch the figure of 19 Crore. On next day, it was a Republic day and movie has pull up its height for box office collection. There was a marvellous collection of 32 Crore on 26th and all together, movie has crossed the figure of 56 Crore on day-2. Even, movie has also hit the two days collection of Akshay Kumar’s, “Toilet Ek Premkatha” and Varun Dhavan’s “Judawa-2”.
Indian Cinemas have a record breaking figure of movies, which were released on Republic Day around. Saif Ali Khan’s RACE-2, Salman Khan’s “JAI HO”, Akshay Kumar’s BABY and AIRLIFT, Shahrukh Khan’s Raees, are the movies, which have collected a record break collection of box office. In short, Republic Day is so much lucky for Bollywood movies. Here, there is a point that Akshay Kumar’s PADMAN was also going to release on 25th January, but because of PADMAAVAT date, it was postpone to release. Even, Rithwik Roshan’s upcoming movie, “Super-30” of Vikas Bahal, which is based on a super mathematician teacher, Anand Kumar, has also announced today that, movie will release on next Republic Day.
After all the efforts and struggle of KARNI SENA, movie released with full of protection. At this time, KARNI SENA has announced that, they will make the movie on Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s mother and the name of movie will, “Leela ki Leela”. Film will be directed by Arvind Vyas and within 15 days, Muhrat shot will design. In between, famous Bollywood stars, Hema Malini, Asha Parekh and Vahida Raheman cannot stop raving about Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus PADMAAVAT and say that, this is a film that will be remembered forever. Even Asha Parekh asked that, I wonder what the Karni Sena is shouting and raging about.
In this situation, Rajasthan, Gujarat and M.P. states has not allowed the releasing of PADMAAVAT in their states. Oppose of movie is also high in U.P. and Haryana, but film is already released in this states.
Oppose of PADMAAVAT is running on, but movie is making the records on box office and prediction is that, on 28th, Sunday, movie will cross 100 Crore’s magical figure and upcoming days will saw the magic of Sanjay Leela Bhansali and his historical movie, both.
